Overview
Pierre-André is a Counsel specialising in debt products, regulatory capital and liability management transactions. He has more than fifteen years’ experience advising financial institutions and corporates.
Pierre-André started his career at Linklaters in Paris in 2007 and was Head of Corporate Finance and M&A at the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa banking Group prior to rejoining the firm in 2024.
Work highlights
- Advising the underwriters on Additional Tier 1, Tier 2 Capital and Senior Non-Preferred bond issues by BPCE, Crédit Agricole SA, La Banque Postale and Société Générale.
- Advising arrangers, dealers, managers and issuers on the establishments, updates of and drawdowns under numerous EMTN Programmes, including Air Liquide, Arkema, BPCE, Caisse Française de Financement Local (CAFFIL), CADES, Crédit Agricole SA, Compagnie de Financement Foncier (CFF), Danone, EssilorLuxottica, La Poste, RTE Réseau de Transport d’Electricité, SFIL, Schneider Electric SE.
- Advising banks or issuers: on covered bonds issued by La Banque Postale SFH, HSBC SFH, CAFFIL and by CFF.
Professional experience
Previously, Pierre-André was Head of Corporate Finance and M&A supervising the M&A Division; the Capital Markets Division; the Corporate governance function and Prudential and regulatory affairs at Crédit Mutuel Arkéa Group Legal. He was also Head of Sustainable Finance and a Member of the Market Abuse Committee.
Pierre-André was a member of various working groups at AMAFI (Association Française des Marchés Financiers), promoting market activities in France.
He has published articles on bond issues qualifying as regulatory capital and has provided training to clients about regulatory capital for banks and insurance companies.
He is a lecturer at Montpellier University of Law.
