Wendy is a Senior Associate in the Linklaters’ Mergers and Acquisitions team in New York.
Her practice includes public and private mergers and acquisitions, including domestic and cross-border transactions, carve-outs, divestitures, joint ventures, reorganizations, minority investments, tender offers, activist matters and corporate governance matters.
Work highlights
Work experience includes representation of:
- Celanese Corporation in its transaction with Mitsui & Co. to form Nutrinova, a food ingredients joint venture.
- The Chefs’ Warehouse in its acquisition of Chef Middle East, a leading distributor of specialty food and beverage products in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Oman, from Gulf Capital.
- SPX Technologies in its divestiture of three subsidiaries that hold asbestos liabilities and certain assets, including related insurance assets, to an entity formed by a joint venture of Global Risk Capital and Premia Holdings.
- Celanese on the restructuring of Korea Engineering Plastics Co., a joint venture owned 50% by Celanese and 50% by Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company.
- Specialty chemicals company LANXESS on its US$1.075bn acquisition of Emerald Kalama Chemical from American Securities.
- Liberty Global in connection with its US$2.5bn modified Dutch auction tender offers.
Professional experience
Prior to joining Linklaters, Wendy worked in the M&A group of another large New York law firm.
Education and qualifications
Wendy holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She also has a B.A. in Economics from Brown University.
